Withdrawal and refunds

Try before you pay

Every subscription is preceded by a 30-day free trial that asks for no payment details. The trial exists so that the decision to subscribe is made after using the software, not before. Please use it for that.

The statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom, the law gives you the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of making it, without giving a reason. Paddle, the seller, applies that right under section 15 of its buyer terms and under its refund policy, and those decide when it applies to your purchase.

For a subscription, the right covers the first payment. It has an exception for digital content such as software you download: under Paddle's terms, it no longer applies once you have started downloading or using the product, where during the purchase you agreed to get it before the 14 days were over. REPLAYD is software supplied by download, and your license begins the moment the payment goes through.

Where the right of withdrawal does apply and you exercise it, Paddle refunds the payment in full.

Renewals

A renewal does not open a new withdrawal period, except where Paddle's refund policy gives one: in the United Kingdom, each yearly renewal does. To avoid being charged for a further period, cancel before the renewal date. Canceling is free at any time, and access continues to the end of the period already paid for.

Faults

None of the above affects your statutory rights where the software does not conform to the contract. Those rights, to have the fault remedied, to a price reduction, or to terminate, remain in full, under Directive 2019/770 and its national transpositions.

Exercising a right

Purchases are made through Paddle, the merchant of record and the seller for the transaction, and Paddle's buyer terms apply. A request to withdraw, or a refund claim on any other ground, is made to Paddle. In the European Union, the Paddle Customer Portal has a withdrawal option during the 14 days: open it with the Manage subscription link in your Paddle receipt email, or at paddle.net with the email you purchased with. Otherwise, use the support link in your Paddle receipt, or Request refund at paddle.net. You may also write to support@replayd.download, and the request will be passed to Paddle.

Where a refund is due, it is returned to the original payment method. The time that takes is determined by the payment provider.
