REPLAYD

Privacy

Short, because there is not much to say. This site sets no cookies and REPLAYD sends nothing from your machine.

Cookies

This site sets none. No analytics, no trackers, no embedded video, no fonts fetched from anywhere else — the pages are static files and the type is whatever your system already has.

That is why you were not asked to accept anything. A consent banner exists to get permission for storage that is not necessary, and there is none here to permit.

What the server sees

replayd.download is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, serving you a page means handling the request itself: the address you asked for, your IP address, and the identifier your browser sends about itself. Cloudflare keeps that briefly to deliver the page and to stop abuse of the service.

Nothing is built from it here. There is no account, no profile and no record on our side connecting a visit to a person.

The app

REPLAYD does not phone home. Your settings, game list, window position and log live in %APPDATA%\REPLAYD on your own machine, per user. Clips and recordings are written where you tell it to and go nowhere else.

Downloading the installer is an ordinary download, and running it does not register anything anywhere.

Updates

Checking is something you switch on rather than something done to you, and downloading and installing are two further choices on top of it. All three are off until you turn them on.

A check asks this site for one small file naming the current version, and reads what changed out of the changelog page. It sends nothing about you or your machine beyond what fetching any file requires — no identifier, no version report, no count. The file has to carry our signature to be believed at all.

If this ever changes

Anything that stores something in your browser, or sends something from the app, would be named on this page before it shipped.

If a cookie becomes genuinely necessary — a sign-in session, say — it will be listed here. Anything not necessary would ask first, and would work just as well if you said no.
